Planetary Boundaries for the Civil Society: Existing experiences, potential for socio-ecological transformation

Building on current knowledge of transformative processes, this workshop focuses on the potential use of the concept for civil society organizations to support a sustainability transformation and sustainable development. The workshop discusses the relationship between planetary boundaries and bottom up socio-ecological transformation, as well as how to operationalize the concept for civil society organizations. It builds on lessons learned from existing initiatives and initial experiences with applying the concept in civil society.
